Flight search results are now always available

SKYCACHE It is Skytool's new SaaS service designed to automatically perform flight searches for predefined routes, itineraries, and dates, store the results, and make them available for viewing through a web-based back office or via API.

Instead of querying the various product sources each time, SKYCACHE It performs searches according to a schedule and stores the retrieved quotes in a centralized cache.

How It Works

The user configures the routes and the parameters to be monitored.

SKYCACHE It then performs, according to a predefined schedule, a series of searches on the linked product sources, including:

• GDSs such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Travelport;
• LCC and NDC content;
• aggregators and platforms such as Travelfusion, AirGateway, Farelogix, and other compatible providers.

The results are stored and can be accessed later through the back-office web interface or integrated into other systems via an API.

Which parameters can be configured

For each search, you can specify:

• the itinerary, consisting of one or more origin-destination pairs;
• the departure date for each segment;
• a flexible time frame, expressed in days;
• the travel class, such as Economy, Premium Economy, or Business;
• passenger categories: adults, children, and infants;
• the supplier or source to be queried.

The same itinerary can generate multiple alternative options, corresponding to the different flights, carriers, fares, and fare bases identified during the search.

SKYCACHE It doesn't just store a price.

For each observation, record the various options available for a specific itinerary, the source of the product, and the date the quote was recorded.

This way, you can find out:

• when the last search was performed;
• Which routes are included in a given fare?;
• what flight solutions were found;
• which airlines and fare bases are associated with each solution;

from which source the result comes.

API-Based Queries

The APIs of SKYCACHE allow you to access data in a logical sequence:

1. request for the date of the most recent available quote;
2. viewing the routes associated with the quote;
3. retrieval of the list of quotes and their corresponding solutions.

This allows you to integrate the results into portals, search engines, sales platforms, business applications, and analytics systems.
